Carbon fibre AFOs are suitable for patients who do not want a bulky device inside their shoe. Carbon fibre AFOs can be of the shelf or Custom made. They can be manufactured to be flexible to allow a degree of movement or to be very stiff to provide maximum support if required.
Fabric AFOs can be a good choice for clients with mild foot drop who do not want anything hard inside their shoe.
